- Crone: I honour you for your sensible, compassionate and consistent parenting. I only wish there were many others like you. It sounds like your son is really TRYING to do the right thing, but something's a bit out of whack. A simple, common suggestion would be that your son is affected by high-energy attention deficit syndrome, and prescribe a stimulant, such as Ritalin. I DETEST a wholesale approach to the behaviour of young children in a new environment. But I know of cases (including myself) where it has helped focus, to be less "all over the place." He may be an unusually bright child who is BORED. Ask your physician about that, too. Perhaps he simply needs more challenge or stimulation. Maybe he's having problems learning to read? Sometimes, not being able to read makes a child to act "goofy". It's important to remember that some very bright people have problems with dyslexia. (I know a man who was literally a "rocket scientist", who had been written off as a dummy until he learned to read, in the Navy!) Generally speaking, boys tend to be more active and less self-controlled than girls at the same age. And that's just the way people are, whether we like it or not. You sound like a kind and competent parent. Just keep in touch with the teachers, and your family doctor as needed, and carry on as you've been doing. You deserve much praise.
- April R: Sounds to me like your son likes the attention he is getting from you guys. He is communicating through his behavior. He is saying that he would like more quality time with you guys. I read everything you were saying and the routine sounds great but I didn't see you mention the time that you spend with him. I can tell that you love your son and that he is a very healthy boy. I think that if you guys play some board games or do what he likes for a least 30 min or so a day you will notice a change. Good luck and keep doing what you’re doing.
- Jay C: i would recommend you get him checked out for attention deficit disorder,as i used to have it,i eventually outgrew it,but if he has then it could continue up until his teens.the only reason why i recommend you get him checked out is because this is what i used to do when i was younger.

- Caz: you need to explain to the teachers that there isnt much you can do and try and have a behaviour plan in school that reflects the one at home where possible
- rennicke: he nay be over bright and bored at school maybe the work isn't stimulating him enough so he acts the clown then again he may have an illness like adhd i would get him checked out do the teachers at school complain about his work is he doing well in class having said that he is only five and he doesn't realise yet that education is important try maybe saying to him if you are good in school today we can go on a special trip this week end and then if he behaves badly the next day the threat of the trip being cancelled may inspire him to behave at school get him eye q you can get it in liquid form or chewy tablets and see what that does it may help failing that talk to your Doctor and see if he can help

From Reading These Plots, Which One Would You Rather Read?

Which of these would you rather read?
1) Set in 4018. Babies at towards the end of the 2700’s were born with no ability to love or hate..feelings and emotions were limited. Marriage and sexual relationships were the result of details tests. During The Conflict (a world war 3) which began in 3322 everyone fled the big cities and stayed in the country. A new capital city emerged which was called Kamdit City.
Mayla a 16 year old, lived in Kamdit. She was a girl who loved life in the capital, she was forever looking out for her best friend Eden who was a wild one. One day after bailing Eden out from jail they are crash whilst on a motorbike. Mayla slips into a coma for 7 days and when she wakes up she is different. Although she just wants to stay inside and be alone Eden persuades her to go to a party where they meet Vegas and Devlin. As soon as she sets eyes on Devlin she feels something overwhelming – Lust. She doesn’t know whats happening, she already has a boyfriend, she doesn’t know who to talk to.
This is going to be a action/romance. Devlins father will be in a prison called ‘4355′. (An asteroid which hit earth in 2721 sank half of Australia, the other half was completely abandoned and so the governments of the world made it into a prison, the worlds main prison) So Devlins dad in that prison, Devlin says he’s innocent. A riot breaks out and many prisoners are killed. So Mayla, Devlin, Eden and Vegas go to the prison to make sure he’s still alive. During this time Mayla’s emotions will become stronger and she tries to control them etc.
2) Willow Gray & Leon Butler are best friends. They both get bullied by Ryan Perry, his girlfriend Amber and their friends. Willow gets a lot more stick than Leon and he tries to help her by telling her she should tell someone. Willow just ignores him. Anyway, the carnival is in town this week and Willow and Leon are planning to go to it. Willow loves the carnival, it’s known to be dark and gothic. While there they see that Ryan and his friends are there so decide to go wait in the woods until they are gone. They sit in the woods, Leon pulls a bottle of vodka from his bag and they both get drunk. A clown called ROLO comes and tells them that he’s just been sacked from the circus, he asks them why they are sat in the woods and not down at the circus so they tell him about the bullies. He mysteriously tells them not to worry about the bullies. Willow and Leon leave the clown and go down to see if the bullies have gone…they have.
The next day they go to school and find out that Amber has been murdered. As much as the two hated Amber they know the clown has something to do with it so they tell the police who have trouble believing them but go to the circus anyway. The circus people tell the police that the man (who was the clown) was fired and they don’t know where he is. Over the next week the bullies keep showing up dead, the clown the main suspect. In the end it will come out that Leon was the one killing them the whole time.
